Yes,I was using second battery before, but later decide to use those step up converter. Now I have to charge only the one battery for one tank. I can set the volume in Tamiya DMD at 30% only and its quite enough. In the begining I was using standard Tamiya Leo 2A6 4 ohm speaker, the engine sound was too loud - in addition setting volume to 100% cause some distorsions in output signal. I couldnt find amplifier with 4 ohm output and 7,2V supply, Benedini ofers 6W /7-12V amplifier but with 8 ohm output. So I decide to increase supply voltage to 12V.
